Just a couple of short weeks ago, I met up with one of my closest friends Rachel for some brunch and girly catch up.
If Rachel sounds familiar, that’s because she’s behind the camera for the pictures you see of me. She’s the creative genius/photographer extraordinaire of Rachel O’Neal Photography.
We headed to one of my favorite brunch spots in St. Louis, Half & Half.
Half & Half has one of the best breakfast/brunch/lunch menus in the city. So there’s usually a good wait to get a table. But it’s 100% worth it.
Luckily you can get yourself a mimosa or latte while you wait for your table. When the weather is nice, you can wait outside and people watch in downtown Clayton.
When we finally got our table, we immediately ordered sustenance in the form of caffeine and latte art.
One of the best things about Half & Half is their amazing coffee menu. Definitely a must if you are an addict like me. Bonus: they always have the cutest lattes.
Armed with our lattes, we were finally ready to get some brunch in us.
Being a seasoned veteran of ordering here, I opted for my favorite the fried egg sandwich. It comes with bacon, cheddar, and aioli on a brioche bun.
You know I can’t deny bacon at brunch.
Their brioche bun is always so soft and delicious which is pretty much what makes this sandwich for me.
Rachel opted for the ham biscuit which comes with raspberry preserves. So simple and amazing. It’s listed as a starter, but is definitely big enough to be your meal.
I’m definitely getting this next time I go.
You should definitely get to Half & Half this weekend to try it for yourself.
After such a delicious brunch, we headed out to walk it off before it started snowing.
