Red Wine Slushes

My new favorite thing lately has been smoothies and frozen drink everything. I just bought a blender so I’m trying to put it to good use. I’ve been experimenting with my frozen alcoholic beverages lately and I think I’ve come up with a pretty delicious summer drink for you to try; red wine slushes.

The best part about this drink recipe is that it’s actually pretty cheap, delicious, and you can make a lot of it.

Here’s what you’ll need for about 8 drinks:

1/2 bottle of red wine — the cheaper the better

2 pints of raspberry sorbet

1/2 a lime, juiced

1 cup mixed berries

Just toss everything in the blender until it’s smooth. If it’s too thick, just add wine until it’s the consistency you want. If it’s too thin, just add a little more sorbet. Throw on some berries to look fancy and there you have your new favorite summer drink!
