I want to be honest with you here, accessories are a real struggle for me. I really enjoy shopping for clothes and finding statement pieces or really great shoes. The one thing I get very little pleasure out of shopping for is jewelry. I like to have my favorite nice pieces and throw them on every day and be done. So it’s pretty rare that I find something that I just have to have that isn’t an everyday jewelry piece. So you can see that it’s surprising that I find myself really on the bandwagon for a pair of Spring earrings to make a statement.
It really started when I found these adorable pink earrings from Kate Spade and just knew I had to have them. I love all the tassels and Moroccan vibes Kate Spade has right now. I think I love this straw camel bag the most of all though. I ran into Kate Spade a few weeks ago to grab the pink tassel earrings, but as soon as I saw the pink, yellow, and orange version I knew we were meant to be. I rarely choose bright colors, but it was like these just made me really happy and I could totally picture wearing them all Spring and with shorts and a t-shirt in Summer. I really try to only buy things that I need and I’ve been doing a really good job of that all year so far. But sometimes you just have to do something for yourself because it makes you happy.
I’ve been seeing loads of fun Spring earrings so far and none of them disappoint. The most popular are probably these Baublebar Crispin Drops which are adorable. I’m a huge fan that all the Spring earrings are super lightweight. One of the biggest reasons I rarely wear earrings is because they’re just too heavy and uncomfortable. My tassels from Kate Spade are so lightweight which is another reason I could get on board with wearing a bright, fun earring. I always try to have a complete outfit, which feels sort of hard to do in Spring or Summer because I don’t want heavy accessories. This Spring earrings trend is definitely the answer to my accessory problems.
